That’s my King!

Who is God? What is He like? This short video will help answer these questions. I hope your heart leaps with excitement, as much as mine does every time I watch this.

Watch it over and over if you need to get these Truths in your mind and heart.

Father’s Heart.

Good morning! This Scripture was on my mind this morning:
Psalm 139:17-18 AMP

“17 How precious and weighty also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!

18 If I could count them, they would be more in number than the sand. When I awoke, [could I count to the end] I would still be with you.”
Father’s thoughts of you are so precious, important and large in number that if you could count them they would be more than every grain of sand!
Think about it. 🙂

Letting go of “me”.

“To seek the fulfillment of ourselves in God—that is, to seek only the blessings and refreshing of God, but not seek God for himself—this type of spirituality is the enemy of the cross of Christ.—ST. JOHN OF THE CROSS”

Revival is…

An excerpt from, “The Fire That Never Sleeps” that is so, spot on. America, it’s time for revival!

“A true revival means nothing less than a revolution, casting out the spirit of worldliness and selfishness, and making God and His love triumph in the heart and life.

Before Whom I Stand!

So much is said in Elijah’s words to king Ahab. Elijah KNEW his God, and had a very close RELATIONSHIP with Him!
1 Kings 17:1 AMP

“ELIJAH THE Tishbite, of the temporary residents of Gilead, said to Ahab,

there shall not be dew or rain these years but according to My word.” (Capitals added by me for emphasis.)

Elijah- (Hebrew) means, “My God is YAHWEH!”

“The significance of The Name Yahweh is that it is confirming God’s existence but most importantly, His Presence.” Ex 3:10-15

So, Elijah’s name means, “MY GOD IS WITH ME”, Or, “I carry The Living God within me”.

:1 The definition of the word ‘Stand‘- dwells, abides, continues and is sustained, nourished and established; by his God!

So let’s break it down even further:
Dwell– to live or stay as a permanent resident; reside. To linger over, emphasize, or ponder in thought, speech, or writing (often followed by on or upon).
Abide– to remain; continue; stay. To have one’s abode; dwell; reside. To continue in a particular condition; attitude, relationship, etc.
Continue– To go on after suspension or interruption. To go on or keep on, as in some course or action; extended. To last or endure. To remain in a place; abide; stay.
Sustain– to support, hold, or bare up from below. To bear (a burden, charge, etc). To undergo, experience, or suffer (injury, loss, etc.); endure without giving way or yielding. To supply with food, drink, and other necessities of life. To provide for (an institution or the like) by furnishing means of funds. To uphold as valid, just, or correct, as a claim or the person making it: the judge sustained the lawyers objection. To confirm or corroborate, as a statement.
(I heard Jesus say, “I AM whatever he / she needs!”)

Nourished– to sustain with food or nutrient; supply with what is necessary for life, health, and growth. To cherish, foster, keep alive, etc. To strengthen, build up, or promote.

Establish– to found, institute, build, or bring into being on a firm or stable basis. To install or settle in a position, place, business, etc. To show to be valid or true; prove. To cause to be accepted or recognized. To bring out permanently. To enact, appoint, or ordain for permanence, as a law; fix unalterably. To make (a Church) a national or state institution. Cards- to obtain control of (a suit) so that one can win all the subsequent tricks in it.
Psalm 91:1 AMP

“He who [a]dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand].”

So much, in just one verse. 🙂
Keep The Trinity in your thoughts and on your heart at all times.
Stay humble.

Fear (highly respect and revere) The Lord.

Forgive quickly. Commune / Pray (speak with) The Lord continually.

Always listen for His Voice.

Worship and praise Him every moment and under all circumstances.

Your relationship with Him is vital!

Some great books on having a Relationship with The Lord are:

“The Secret Of The Stairs” by Wade E Taylor

“Drawing Near” by John Brevere

and “The Practice Of The Presence Of God With Spiritual Maxims” by Brother Lawrance.

If it wasn’t 4:30am, and if my Family wasn’t sleeping, I would be shouting, “YESSSS!” to this excerpt:

“Let me give you some advice on reading Scripture: Let the Bible serve as your invitation to experience the God you are reading about. Let theology ignite your heart to encounter God based on what Scripture reveals about His attributes and character. Let the Book of Acts become your model for today, not just a memorial to what God did back then.”

“The Psalmist describes it this way, “Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls” (Ps. 42:7). Your heart will never be satisfied by anything or anyone in this world. It is utterly impossible. You will search, but always come up short. You will pursue, but live in continual disappointment. You will reach for the higher high and more exciting thrill, only to discover that your heart cries out, “More!” Don’t let anyone tell you this cry is wrong or not of God; it most certainly is Heaven-born. The problem is that we are looking in all the wrong places for this pure desire to be satisfied. This is why encounters with God are so vital for us today. They remind us there is always more.”

Dry bones.

Ezekiel 37:1-14 AMP  “1. THE HAND of the Lord was on me, and He brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the midst of the valley; it was full of bones.

2. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.

3. He asked me, Son of man, can these bones live? I said, Sovereign Lord, you alone know.

4.Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!

5. This is what the Sovereign Lordsays to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life.

6. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

7. So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.

8. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

9. Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’”

10. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

11. Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’

12. Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.

13. Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.

14. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’”

You may feel tired, defeated, and beaten down (like dry bones), from all that you have been dealing with. But just because you FEEL like it’s over, doesn’t mean it’s over! God Almighty is known as The Alpha AND The Omega, (The Beginning AND The End)! He spoke the very first Word, and He will speak the last Word over you and your life.

So can you (“dry bones”) live again? Can you be free from every form of oppression? YES!

Luke 4:18- 20 AMP (the Words of Jesus)

“18. The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity].

19. To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound].

20. Then He rolled up the book and gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were gazing [attentively] at Him.”

(Notice I did not say, “Trust your Pastor” or “Trust the man or woman of God”. I said TRUST HIM, The Father, The Lord Jesus and The Holy Spirit, ALONE.)

Wanting more.

I am not satisfied. I am not content. I am, unsettled, like a caged lion pacing back and forth, knowing what I see beyond the bars yet not able to touch it.

Most of my life I have been a Christian. I have been taught by people, in Church and out. I have been told what is possible, but not seeing much of it.

It bothers me, to the point where I feel sickened, when I see or hear of an unnatural death, a sickness, a mental problem, a disease, hopelessness, fear, lack,… oppression, still going on with so many professing Christians around.

Something is wrong,… very wrong.

I refuse to give up. I refuse to just “accept” that this is it, and that the book of Acts is a myth. I refuse to give up hope. I don’t care who says it’s not like that anymore. If you have quit trusting and hoping, well I’m pressing onward. I have to, I need to. There’s too much at stake. I refuse to see The Lord face to face and try to sell Him the idea of my excuses as to why His Power was not available, and I couldn’t do my job.

The reality is, I am a lion, that has been caged by lies. Lies that The Holy Spirit doesn’t do miracles anymore. That we are supposed to be oppressed and show others how to take a beating throuought life. See, The Lion is on the inside, but on the outside I look like a lamb, an easy prey and certainly not a threat to oppression, the enemy.

But I am a threat. I am a threat because I REFUSE to give up.

I know who my Father is, He is The Lion of the tribe of Judah! He is The King of kings, and The Lord of lords! He is The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Israel! He is The Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and The End!

I will live in His den, in His Presence, and bow my face to the ground. I will seek Him, I will humble my heart before Him, I will choose to forgive all that have wronged me, and repent for my sins, the sins of my family, of my state, my country and the world.

I will sit in this den, in this cave with Him, in desperate determination to KNOW HIM, in prayer and worship as long as it takes, and alone if needed.

America and the world is just starting to realize how desperately in need we are for God. But how many will choose to sacrifice themselves, (their titles, pride, money, “security”, doctorates, possessions, time, assumptions, hate, unforgivness, idols, hobbies, rights,… whatever is more sought after than God), and fully submit to Him and desperately cry out for Him until He shows up. And then, press in MORE, refusing to leave Him, no matter the cost.

How long will it take? As long as it takes to contend for more of Him. Desperation is key, hunger is key, humility and prayer are key and they are worth more than all the money and riches the world can ever offer. Because the world will pass away, but The Father, The Lord, The Holy Spirit are forever!

He is God, what can be too hard for Him?

An EXCELLENT book on this subject is called, “The Fire That Never Sleeps” by Michael L. Brown & John Kilpatric.
