Church at home.

With the Covid virus quarantine in effect, many Christians seem to be concerned about not being able to go to their Church for fellowship and hear The Word. If you are concerned about this, I have a few suggestions.

Check to see if your Church has a “live” Church Service! Some Churches are live streaming their Services or taping them. Get in contact with them and see if they offer this. Or maybe they offer Sermons via email.

Get on YouTube or another platform and find other tapes Sermons to watch. Some places even have up the oldies like Katherin Kuhlman and other spiritual giants of old. Do a search and see what you can find!

Get some good books and read them! I honestly cannot tell you how many good books I have. I honestly could start a small Church library at this time, but I love them and I feel my personal study time is very important. Whatever books can help me draw closer to Father and His Love is extremely important to me. In the photo you will see part of my collection. Sadly, I need another bookcase for other books piling up on our bedroom floor! The Holy Spirit has led me personally to books to help me get closer to Him, so that’s one reason I love them so much. But no book will EVER take the place of His Words or leading!

The most important way to hear The Word of God is by getting somewhere quiet and just Worship Him, Love on Him and listen for His Voice. Always back up what you hear with the Bible’s written Word. Some great books on hearing His Voice are in my photo. I recommend, “Drawing Near”, “The Bait Of Satan”, “Forever Ruined For The Ordinary” (my favorite) and “Desperately Deep”.

The biggest thing is just making time to set a time to just focus on Him alone. It might be more difficult at home with so many distractions like the laundry, dishes, the kiddo’s needing you for things, etc. Distractions happen. Maybe you can make these times a Family Time with God. All of you watch the Sermon together, or read a good book focused on Him, pray together and worship together. It can be fun, and actually bring your Family together more.

Some books I highly recommend!

Never, never, never give up!

I just bought this mug,… it’s so, me.No matter what is going on in your life, no matter how bad things seem to be, never, never, never give up, on Father God!

The enemy loves to deceive, to lie, to use “smoke and mirrors” to try to convince you that Father God doesn’t care about you, that He doesn’t hear your prayers, that your seeking Him is all for nothing.

That’s a filthy lie, nothing more!

If he can destroy your dependence on, your love for, Father God, then he can destroy your RELATIONSHIP WITH Him.

That is his ultimate goal.

See, since he was kicked out of heaven for his rebellion, along with angles, he has been very jealous of His love and RELATIONSHIP with you, and he will do whatever he can to deceive you out of that beautiful, precious, vital relationship!

The enemy is jealous, and if he can’t have it all, he will try to make sure Father can’t have what He desires the most,… your love.

Drawing Near to God.

The more I learn about relationship with Father God, the more I have to look at and work on Worshipping Father, Praying to Father and Fasting.
Worshipping acknowledges Father as God Almighty, The God of Love, Truth, Justice, Mercy, Salvation, Peace, Healing, Abundance, Life, Wisdom, Adoption, Counsel, Forgiveness, Grace, Help, and much more. In our worship we just love on Him and focus on Him.
Prayer is our Communication with Father God. We talk WITH Him during these times. We also sit quietly and LISTEN for Him to speak. His Voice is a still, small Voice inside. Or sometimes He will speak audibly, or through a song, a billboard, or even a bumper sticker! The words just seem to grab your attention, or stand out.
Fasting quiets our will, our flesh, and focuses us on Father God. We are less distracted. Prayer and worship MUST go along with fasting, or else it’s just a diet.
All three of these important subjects are SACRIFICES. They are meant to get our focus off of us, our wants, our desires, our wills and puts our focus on God alone and His Will.
This is how we come close to God. 🙂

Train up a child…

“Train up a child in the way he should go,And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverb 22:6.
I am so, proud of our oldest Son, I received an email from his teacher in HS because he has a failing grade in reading.
Yes, you read that right, failing.
When he got home from school today, he explained why.

His teacher separated the class into groups. Each group had a certain book to read and work on together. The book our Son’s group was assigned was a book that is a type of horror book about kids becoming demon possessed.

He explained to his teacher that he does not read those types of books, and asked if he could read another one.
From what our Son has said, the teacher assigns quite a few of horror type of books.
So, I will be seeing his teacher today or tomorrow. And since his teacher likes books with demons, I have the one for our son to read, and I will be bringing it. 😁

The subjects of my reading.

Loving people book “The Bait Of Satan”,

Worship book “Intercessory Worship”,

Fasting new book “The Hidden Power Of Prayer & Fasting”,

Prayer book “Unrelenting Prayer”,

The Atonement book, “Bought With Blood”,

Communion book, “The Meal That Heals”,

The Sabbath (Since Jesus said in Matthew 24:20 “Pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:” I figure it must be important to observe correctly. Book “Keeping The Sabbath Wholly”,

The Feasts book “Celebrating Jesus In The Biblical Feasts”.

I have read some fully, others I am currently working on, others need to be read.

Yes, my homework is cut out for me. 🙂

A prayer.

I want to share a prayer The Holy Spirit gave my years ago, that He just reminded me of.
“Lord, I don’t want to love You for what You can do for me.

But I want to love You for what YOU CAN DO, THROUGH me.”
Think about it, and please, feel free to pray it.
“YOUR KINGDOM come, YOUR WILL be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (See Matthew 6:5-18)

Also remember when you pray, it’s a conversation with Father, so LISTEN for what He is saying to you! Sometimes we need to get quiet before Him and just listen to Him. 🙂

Healing the orphan spirit.

Last week I was asking Father how to get closer to Him. After a few minutes I heard in my spirit, “Sonship series”.

I temembered that name from a book, or a teaching from a few years back. So when I did a search two books came up. One I already have read, but this one I didn’t. It’s called, “Healing The Orphan Spirit”, by Leif Hetland.

If you, like, like me,… like many people, have felt rejected, abandoned, abused, neglected, used, or offended, if you suffer emotional pain and or physical pain from abuse then I recommend reading this book.

I also highly recommend reading, “The Bait Of Satan” by John Brevere and “The Secret Of The Stairs” by Wade E Taylor (get a copy from his website).

God’s unconditional love is the remedy to these wounds. And if you feel or have been taught that God is the source of your pain, I’m here to tell you that, that is not the truth. Half of the problem of the modern American Church is that not many truly teach Father God’s heart, Will and emotions correctly, if at all. PLEASE, don’t think that some hurtful, mean, nasty Christian was or is speaking God’s heart. I don’t care who they are!

Please read 1 John 4:7-11, but let me share two verses out of the AMP version:

7. “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him]. 8. He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love.”

Just because a fellow Christian seems to have power in the Church, seems to know much about God, does not mean they KNOW God. If they don’t show love, if they aren’t known for being loving, compassionate, caring, etc, then they truly don’t KNOW God.

Obviously, if they snap at someone one day, then give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they had a bad day. Maybe they are worried about a loved one, they are human after all. Forgive them quickly, and treat them the way you would want to be treated.

Now flip this around. Some people treat others horribly, then go around telling others (gossiping) that THEY were wounded by the people they were just treating horribly! The bully plays the victim! Then all these other people feel sorry for the bully, and turn on the true victim. Be careful of what you listen to!! (The Bait Of Satan is a GOOD book on this subject.)

God’s love is the FOUNDATION to everything with Him. Loving God with everything we are, and loving our neighbor (every person), see Matthew 22:35-40.

Keep your love on. 🙂

Books!

A pretty typical morning for me.I took this photo and talk about the books I read in hopes that if someone has been trying to find information on a certain subject that my posts may cut down that time.

In other words, I hope you can find something here, helpful to you. 🙂

The books on the right (The Bait Of Satan, etc) are the foundations. They basically are about the loving God with all you are, and loving people, which is the greatest commandment (see Matthew 22:35-40). In fact, “Bought With The Blood” should be in that pile too. It is about understanding your rights, what you have been given through the exchange on the cross by Jesus. If more of us knew our spiritual rights, we wouldn’t put up with sickness, lack, worry, fear, etc.)

All of the books here have the same foundations: Loving God with our whole self (heart, soul and mind) and loving people. In loving God completely, we let go of our “self” (aka “die to self: our will, our agendas, our fleshly “rights”, our pride, etc. in exchange for God’s Will, His desires, His purpose, His Heart. And in doing that, His Love will pour into our hearts so we can pour His Love out on people.

And when people experience God’s Love,… they will willingly “die to self” in exchange for God’s Will, His desires, His purpose, etc. then they go out, and pour out His love on others and the cycle repeats. This is Discipleship. Notice the word “disciple” looks very much like “discipline”. It’s not a coincidence. Discipleship takes discipline, period. Thankfully, that’s where Grace comes in. There’s no way we can be perfect, and obey the “law” perfectly, as they tried in the Old Testament. That’s one of many, reasons why Jesus died on the cross for us. Grace! His ability and strength instead of our ability. (Letting go of our self / ability for His Self / ability).

It’s upside down in The Kingdom of God. We “die (to self) to live in Him. We humble ourself (go down) and He lifts us up!
I didn’t mean to go on like this, but again, I hope these books can help someone. 🙂
